How GIE is Different
Unlike most pools, GIE is a fully licensed and regulated insurance company that enjoys the protection of guarantee funds in the states in which it operates. GIE members get all the benefits of being in a not-for-profit member-owned pool, while also enjoying the safety, security, non-assessability, and professional claims and risk management resources of a commercial insurer.
National Fire & Casualty Company (NF&C), a specialty property/casualty insurer providing broad liability, auto, and property insurance coverages as well as access to practical risk management.
How NF&C is Different
As a fully licensed, regulated, and capitalized insurance company, NF&C enjoys the protection of guarantee funds in the states in which it operates, and is non-assessable. Unlike other insurers that offer a “one size fits all” approach to coverage, NF&C provides smaller or highly specialized public entities with access to individualized coverages that are specifically designed to fit their needs.
Workers Compensation Solutions: providing medical benefits and wage replacement to public sector workers injured on the job
Protecting Local Government’s Property: providing coverages to protect local entity business properties and their contents against loss, like fire, theft, equipment breakdown or other physical destruction. Solutions also available for loss of income or an increase in business expenses that results from damage to covered property.
Risk Management for our Clients: proactive risk management reduces costs, injuries, and controversy.
